Citibank Stole From You

Say it ain't so! A "reputable" American financial company stealing from it's own customers?! Yes, says California Attorney General Edmund Brown Jr. After a three year probe in to Citibank's sort-of-illegal "account-sweeping" program Citibank has agreed to a settlement where it will repatriate all of the money it stole as well as pay damages of $3.5 million to the State of California.

2008 Credit Card Survey

Consumer Action recently published it's 2008 edition of the annual credit card survey. This surveys a large portion of the credit cards in current circulation in order to classify them under such categories as APR, annual fees, rewards, and more. It makes finding a card that suits your needs easier, as each category has the cards listed from 'best' to 'worst' for that specific criteria.
