About
I'm a sucker for a good deal. I am always out there finding the best price or deal for everything. Credit cards are no exception.
Ever since my first co-signed credit card at the age of sixteen, I have been taught the importance of good credit. In the U.S. (among other countries), having a good credit history can make a big difference throughout your life. Car buying, mortgages, bank loans, lines of credit, credit cards, establishing a business, getting a job—credit history can come into play during any of these situations. Getting a credit card and using it wisely is a good way to build your credit history.
So if we must use credit cards, why not make them work for us instead of the other way around? Once I started building my credit history I began learning about different ways to profit from having credit cards. When I'd talk about the things I'd learned with family and friends, most wouldn't have a clue. This web site is focused on ways to become a smart credit consumer and to not only avoid giving away your hard earned money, but to turn the tables around and make a profit every once in a while.
Unlike some other credit card review-type sites, I am a real person, and I provide real tips and advice based on experience. That being said, please be aware that although I try to keep all information on this site current and truthful, much of this information is based on my own experience and opinions and may not apply to everyone.
I hope you find some useful information on this site. If you have any questions or comments for The Credit Carder, please fill out the form below.
